Taffeta and Lace opened in 1985 and is Gloucester’s longest established family run bridal boutique.

Designer wedding dresses and prom gowns

Our stunning collection of wedding dresses are priced between £645 and £3599.  We stock the latest gowns in a wide selection of styles and sizes from designers Stella York, Madi Lane, Sophia Tolli, Rachel Allan, Romantica, House of Nicholas and Pure Bridal. We also carry a plus size range in store from all of our designers.

To compliment your gown and to create your own unique look we have a range of bridal accessories including head-dresses, veils, jackets and wraps for you to try.

For the prom season our selection of prom dresses is second to none with the latest designer styles.

Professional fitting service

To ensure your wedding dress is the perfect fit, any alterations will be carried out in-store by professional seamstresses.  Your dress will be pressed and prepared ready for collection and can be stored until the day before the wedding, free of charge (this service is only available for wedding gowns).
